<p>PURPOSE:To enhance acceleration efficiency by a method wherein an action of a mechanical assisting means, which has an acceleration characteristic equivalent to that of a linear motor, is commenced after a predetermined time has elapsed from excitation of a linear motor for acceleration. CONSTITUTION:At a work station, when each linear motor coil 6 is fully excited, a carrier pallet 2 is actuated with a predetermined time-lag due to a thrust generated in a reaction member (the carrier pallet 2). After the predetermined time has elapsed, fitting which has been maintained between a fitting part 15a of a fitting member 15 of a mechanical acceleration assisting means 14 and an inclined surface 11a of a cam member 11 is released and the top end of the fitting part 15a is energized upward by a hydraulic damper 9 to be positioned in rear of a rear end surface 11b of the cam member 11. Then, due to extension of an air cylinder 18 the fitting part 15a pushes the rear end surface 11b to assist the pallet 2 to accelerate. Efficient acceleration is thereby performed.</p> |
