METHOD AND MACHINE FOR MOUNTING ELECTRONIC PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic part mounting machine in which productivity is enhanced by preventing burden on a worker from increasing even when the mounting machine is operated while mixing electrically compatible electronic parts having different shape. SOLUTION: A part name prestored name a memory element 7 mounted on a part feeding jig 5 is put on a new part feeding jig. It is read out by means of a head 8 every time when being used for operation and a part data corresponding to that part name is transferred back to the control section 6 of a mounting machine so that an electronic part actually mounted on the part feeding jig corresponds correctly to the part data without requiring any manual operation. Furthermore, a part data can be generated based on a data measured by the mounting machine immediately before transferring the data to the control section 6 and an electronic part actually mounted on the part feeding jig can corresponds correctly to the part data without requiring any manual operation even if a previously generated part data is incomplete by transferring a part data corresponding to that part name back to the control section 6 of the mounting machine.
