PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make discernment easy for operational conditions at a stopper mechanism by a method wherein a swingable operating lever for operating the stopper mechanism is provided and the operating lever is made projectable beyond and retractile into a half body of a scaffolding board at the side whereto the operating lever is attached. SOLUTION: A pair of scaffolding board half bodies each formed of a plurality of barlike members 3a or 4a arranged in parallel with one another are arranged with the respective barlike members 3a and 4a meshed with one another so that they can be expanded and contracted freely. A stopper mechanism 6 is provided at a position where the barlike members 3a and 4a are still meshed with one another even though both of the scaffold board half bodies are placed under the utmost expansion. The stopper mechanism 6 is composed of a mechanism case 7, an operating lever 8 and a stopper 9. The operating lever 8 is put under the state of not projecting beyond the scaffolding board half body at the side whereto the lever is attached when operated in swing motion to advance the stopper 9 while being put under the state of projecting beyond the scaffold board half body at the side whereto the lever is attached when operated in swing motion to retreat the stopper 9. Therefore, whether the stopper is in the state of advancing or in the state of retreating can be discerned by observing the state of the operating lever. |
