The valve (1) is interposed between mold and a cylinder supplying resin. A section (19) intervening between cylinder and valve has a resin channel (17) supplying a vertical nozzle (2) channel, leading to the opening (5) just ahead of the mold. This injection opening (5) has a valve rod (4) through the injection channel, controlling opening and closure of the valve unit. The valve has a vertical hollow cylinder (9) with top cover (10) having an opening, fastened at the top of the casing (9). A base plate (11) is fastened to the bottom of the casing. The cylindrical casing (9) defines a vertical internal cylindrical chamber accepting the connecting section (19). The connecting section is coupled at the upper end to the cylinder at the top opening. It also accepts the upper part of the injection nozzle (2). A cylindrical piston seals in the casing around the connecting section (19) and also around the injection nozzle (2). It moves back and forth along the casing (9) between cover and base plate. The cylindrical piston (3) defines an internal vertical cylindrical section forming a vertical cylindrical chamber (13), part-accepting both connecting section (19) and injection nozzle (2). It has a peripheral piston section with upper and lower surfaces subjected to hydraulic or pneumatic pressure, in order to move the piston back and forth. A bearing around the valve rod (4) supports it, carried on the cylindrical piston, following its back and forth motion, moving the rod up and down. A further bearing permits movement of the valve rod bearing as the piston moves up and down, connected to one end of the rod.
