<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To curtail space and also reduce cost by incorporating a cutting/ peeling means and an inspecting means into the same device, and performing inspection simultaneously with cutting/peeling action. SOLUTION: A pair of cutting blades cuts the end portion of a covered electric wire W by a predetermined length by the driving force of a servomotor 21 for an axial direction or servomotor 22 for cutting off, and a pair of peeling blades 20a, 20b cuts and strips a covered part of the covered wire W at a predetermined position from the end. Next, a camera 26 photographs the end part of the covered electric wire being illuminated by a light source, and bad or good is decided by analyzing this picture image signal. Quality is enhanced, since only conforming articles are conveyed to the next process. Namely, it becomes unnecessary to provide an inspecting means at a different position in this cutting/peeling device, since it performs cutting/peeling operation of the covered wire W by a cutting/peeling means A, and performs its inspection by an inspecting means B. Accordingly, it becomes possible to reduce space as the whole system, and to reduce the cost by curtailing the number of required parts.</p> |
