Method comprises determination of period, ta, between start of brake order and moment when complete immobilization occurs, and number of revolutions of apparatus (2) between those two specific moments so as to compare them with standard or prior results. Complete immobilization occurs when angular speed goes below specific threshold. An Independent claim is also included for the apparatus to check efficiency of brakes.
