PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize the concentration of a raw material slurry by control ling its variability in the sheet making width direction and stabilize this opera tion at a raw material slurry supply part. SOLUTION: In a raw material slurry supply part which supplies a raw material slurry 7 onto a water permeable sheet with water permeability, a freely rotatable impeller 9 having a plurality of blades 10 which are equal in length to or longer than the sheet making width (w) of the running raw material slurry and are radially disposed on a rotary shaft 11, is arranged in such a manner that the rotary shaft 11 is set in the sheet making width direction of the raw material slurry 7. In addition, this impeller 9 is rotated by means of the flow of the raw material slurry 7 as a power, and thus the flow velocity in the sheet making width direction of the raw material slurry 7 is prevented from being distributed to uniformize the concentration of the raw material slurry 7.
