PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a study desk whose mobile cabinet can be placed for both right and left sides of the desk, whose overall width between right and left legs can be used as a housing space without shortening a depth size of the mobile cabinet, and whose shelf boards can be supported stably. SOLUTION: With the study desk which is composed of a desk body with an open front face consisting of right and left side legs set on the undersurface of right and left end parts of a top board, a back board set between the back end parts of the right and left side legs, and shelf boards set detachably between the back parts of the right and left side legs, and a mobile cabinet free in coming and going under the top board from the opening of the desk body, the mobile cabinet is made possible to be stored under the top board along either the right or the left side leg by enabling the shelf board to be used reversibly to left and right directions and making the depth size short at either right or left side in correspondence with the mobile cabinet width size.
