PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture low-cost and light studs in a comparatively simple process. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is disclosed of studs for sports shoes, especially football shoes. Each stud is equipped with a main body and a chip part fixed to the main body, which latter is manufactured from a semi- finished chip formed by punching of sheet metal.
