PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for raising an aquatic animal in a closed water zone not requiring heavy labor in maintenance and control of water qualities of raising water by feeding a fixed amount of a water treating material to raising water in a closed zone such as a water tank, etc., and, if required, using a circulatory filtration apparatus. SOLUTION: This method for raising an aquatic animal in a closed water zone comprises using raising water containing a fixed amount of a water treating material having stable cleaning treatment ability for a long period of time and raising an aquatic animal.
