PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage medium which can record/reproduce digital dynamic image information, and an information record/reproducer comprising it. SOLUTION: In the recording or reproduction of data containing video data and control information, a cell is defines as a unit of reproduction and a video object unit is defined as a data unit constituting the cell. The control information contains management information related to the video object unit. The management information contains at least one of time information related to the video object unit, size information related to the video object unit, and information related to the size of image information contained in the video object unit.
