PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cracks from being generated between magnetic poles in a surface multipole anisotropic ring magnet using a ferrite-plate-like particle. SOLUTION: This formation device is used in a formation process in a magnetic field, when the surface multipole anisotropic ring magnet is manufactured by a sintering method, and has a cylindrical form 3, a sleeve 4, and a core rod 5. In this case, formation space 2 is composed of the inner-periphery surface of the sleeve 4 and the outer-periphery surface of the core rod 5, a region in contact with at least the sleeve 4 in the form 3 is made of a material having high permeability, and the sleeve 4 is made of a non-magnetic material. When the number of poles of the magnet to be manufactured is set to n, n coils 6 for applying a magnetic field exist in the form 3. In the section of the sleeve 4, the inner periphery is set to a circle, at the same time, an outer periphery is set to n-polygon, and each vertex of the n polygon exists between adjacent coils 6 and 6. |
