PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a power converter of the prior art that the performance tends to be lowered over aging, because a large capacitor for stabilizing the voltage is required to step up the voltage when converting DC energy stored in a storage means to AC energy. SOLUTION: The power converter, which does not require a capacitor for stabilizing a voltage and is not easily influenced by the variations over aging of the capability thereof, can be realized by utilizing a method in which a voltage obtained from a DC power supply 101 is stored once as a step-up voltage, and is then converted into AC voltage. |
