PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transfer device of an image forming device capable of surely preventing wrapping around of transfer paper from a photoreceptor, a transfer defect and a peeling defect of the transfer paper from a transfer belt by setting guidelines when determining positional relations and material quality in actually designing the transfer device. SOLUTION: The positional relations between respective members, such as between a driven roller 3 and a nip B, between the nip B and a bias roller 10, between the bias roller 10 and a contact plate 12 or between the contact plates 12, 17 and 18, are set in such a manner that the resistance change of the transfer belt 5 and the transfer paper S by a change in environmental conditions does not affect the photoreceptor 2 as a change in the current flowing thereto, that effect of a transfer paper does not give rise to the dielectric breakdown of parts and that a destaticization effect may be most effectively obtained. |
