PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for receiving and managing an order for a product which receives an order for a product from a user through ha network, forwards the product to the user from a designated store and updates information of inventory at each store on the forwarded product. SOLUTION: An acceptance terminal 210 of an order receiving and managing center 200 displays a list of stores 212 to a user 100 through a network 300, a displays lists 213 and 214 of products handled at a store designated by the user, receives ordering information 120 transmitted by the user, delivers the product to the user in accordance with the ordering information from the user and, when delivery is completed, sends a notification of completion of delivery to an inventory controlling part 230. On the basis of the notification of completion of delivery from the store, the inventory controlling part updates an inventory control database 221 consisting of information on inventory at each store registered in a storage device 220. |
