FIELD: combustion. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises generating plasma jet in the plasma generator mounted at the inlet of muffle, supplying the jet in the muffle to the flow of dust-coal air mixture, igniting the air mixture when it interacts with the plasma jet, producing fuel mixture in the muffle as a result of partial combustion of coal dust, and supplying burning fuel mixture from the muffle to the boiler furnace to generate burning dust-coal torch. The automatic variation of the flow rate of the plasma-generating air to the plasma generator controls the voltage in the arc of the plasma generator thereby maintaining it within a given range. ^ EFFECT: enhanced stability of igniting and reliability of operation. ^ 1 dwg |
