PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve mounting rigidity of an engine and assembly rigidity of an outboard motor total unit, simultaneously with simplifying a structure of a cylinder block and facilitating manufacture, in addition, attain reduction of the number of part items and assembly man-hours by reducing the number of fixing bolts. SOLUTION: In an assembly structure for this outboard motor, in an upper part of an engine holder 13, an engine 6 is mounted in a vertical position, an oil pan 14 is fixed to a lower part of the engine holder 13. Here, a crankcase 9, cylinder block 10 and a cylinder head 11, constituting the engine 6, are all fixedly fastened to the engine holder 13 by fixing bolts 41, 42, 43, and by the fixing bolt 42, the engine holder 13 and the oil pan 14 are tightened together to the engine 6. |
