A bonding agent layer on a functional reflective layer can consist of a metal, a metal oxide, a metal nitride or a mixture of these substances. It also contains one or more components from a group of zinc oxide, titanium oxide, tin oxide and aluminum oxide. A transparent low-refractive dielectric silicon oxide layer forms over the bonding agent layer. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a coating system for substrates.
