The manifold has a collector with a plane surface on which a collar (22) is provided. The collar is inclined at an angle between 0 and 70 degrees, with respect to the plane surface. The collar permits to adapt a fluid inlet and/or outlet pipe of a heat exchanger and is oriented towards the exterior or interior of the manifold. The collar is obliquely adjusted with respect to the surface. A blending radius of the collar with the plane surface is variable in an angular manner and is equal to the thickness of the surface. The collar has an annular surface provided at its end (E). An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a metallic manifold.
