A traffic light for a pedestrian is provided to display multi media data such as letters, characters, and signs etc on an image display unit while indicating a red signal or a green signal. A traffic light for a pedestrian includes a central control unit(10), a transmission control unit(30), a memory unit(50), a timer unit(70), and a display unit(90). The central control unit controls peripheral devices based on signals input or output by programs. The transmission unit is connected to a communication net by wire or wireless to send and receive multi media data such as letters, logos, characters, signs, and symbols. The memory unit has an operation program controlling multi media and the central control unit. The timer unit controls display time of the multi media data and display time of a red light and a green light. The display unit displays the multi media data in the shape of graphic, animation, and moving image and displays the green light and the red light. The display unit includes a case, and an LED module in which a plurality of LEDs are arranged in a matrix. The LED module has a red color display unit and a green color display unit. |
