The device (1) has a support (8) integrated to a retractable roof (2). A hook (9) is movable in rotation on the support between locked and unlocked positions. A transmission unit transmits movement of a linear actuator (10) to the hook having rods (12, 13). The rod (12) is mounted in rotation on the support and the rod (13) around respective axles (A2, A3). The rod (13) is mounted in rotation on the hook around an axle (A4). The axles (A2-A4) are arranged for permitting passage of axle (A3) between the axles (A2, A4) during movement of the hook between locked and unlocked positions.
