The disc brake (1) has a floating caliper (2) with a friction brake lining (4), which is arranged on a side of a brake disk (3). A brake piston (6) is provided for pressing the friction brake lining against the brake disk. Another brake lining (9) is arranged on an opposite side of the brake disk and exhibits another brake piston (8) that enables the brake lining (9) to be pressable against the brake disk. The disk brake has an electromechanical operating device (5), with which the brake lining (4) is pressable against the brake disk.
