PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing rubber which is provided between a solid-state image sensing element and an optical system having high sealing property without applying large pressure to the solid-state image sensing element. SOLUTION: A sealing rubber 20 is provided between a CCD 11 which images a prescribed image sensing region and a lens for the CCD 11, and is used for sealing between them while being compressed by the CCD 11 and the lens. The sealing rubber 20 is rectangular surrounding an image sensing region, and has a cut-out portion 24 at four corners thereof for removing stress generated due to compression by the CCD 11 and the lens.
