The present invention refers to an ultrasound flow meter designed to measure liquid flows and used by mounting it onto pipes whose flow rates need to be measured. The ultrasound flow meter is made up of a flow adapter (11) and ultrasonic probes (5 and 6) which are mounted in cylindrical envelopes (1 and 2). According to the invention, the flow meter has a U-shaped pipeline section (A) whose measuring section (a) has an axis of symmetry bc that is parallel to the axis of symmetry of the end sections (f and g) of the pipeline section (A). The ultrasonic probes (B and C) are positioned on the axis of symmetry bc which coincides with the direction of the lines of flow of the liquid.
