The method ensures that the bitumen fluid volume in the mass is suitable for forming a strong inclusion of stone material, both at high and at low temperatures in the mass being laid. An asphalt mass is produced with a selected bitumen fluid volume. A new mass is then produced with a bitumen fluid volume which is reduced until it corresponds to the first mass bitumen fluid volume at a lowered temperature, selected from a climate point of view. - Test bodies are produced from both masses and the strength is proven of the bitumen fluid inclusion of stone material in the produced masses by testing whether the volume of bitumen fluid in the mass is final or in continuous phase, by measuring with the TOD method or other measurement method. |
