A fuel consumption estimation method can be executed in a computer. The fuel consumption estimation method of the present invention includes: a step of collecting ship sailing test data including at least one among ship draft, engine load, fuel consumption, and ship speed through a virtual sailing test of the ship; a step of detecting correlation between at least two elements of the ship draft, the engine load, the fuel consumption, and the ship speed included in the collected ship sailing test data; and a step of calculating fuel consumption by engine load according to sailing information including a point of departure and destination of the ship from ship sailing measurement data in a ship sailing database on the basis of the detected correlation between at least two elements. The fuel consumption estimation method of the present invention can determine an optimum sailing state to perform economical sailing by estimating fuel consumption. |
