PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic damper capable of improving a vibration attenuation characteristic.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic damper 10 includes a screw shaft 32, a first nut 52, and a second nut 54. In the screw shaft 32, formed are a first screw groove 120, and a second screw groove 122 having a different lead from that of the first screw groove 120 and arranged without crossing the first screw groove 120 so that their phases are deviated from each other. The first nut 52 is screwed into a screw shaft 32 so as to correspond to the first screw groove 120, and the second nut 54 is screwed into the screw shaft 32 so as to correspond to the second screw groove 122. The electromagnetic damper 10 further includes a relative rotation regulation member 80 for regulating change of the relative rotation angle of the first nut 52 and the second nut 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
