The present invention relates to a portable power generation system using a fuel cell electric vehicle and a control method thereof. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a portable power generation system using a fuel cell electric vehicle and a control method thereof, capable of removing a separate converter from a power transformation module and using a converter inside the vehicle to keep a DC-link voltage of an inverter input terminal constant and at the same time, outputting a current. To achieve the purpose, the system comprises the fuel cell electric vehicle and the power transformation module. The fuel cell electric vehicle comprises: a fuel cell system including fuel cells; a fuel cell controller controlling all operations of the fuel cell system; a connector connected to the fuel cell through a DC-link terminal; a bidirectional DC-DC converter connected to the DC-link terminal; and a battery connected to the DC-link terminal while interposing the bidirectional DC-DC converter between the battery and the DC-link converter, and charged or discharged through the DC-link terminal depending on the operation of the bidirectional DC-DC converter. The power transformation module comprises an inverter connected to the connector directly connected to the DC-link connector, and is connected to supply an output current of the inverter to the power system. The output of the inverter is controlled in accordance with a current command when operating the fuel cell in a power generation mode. When the fuel cell controller generates and outputs an output voltage command in accordance with the current command, the bidirectional DC-DC converter is operated in accordance with the output voltage command, such that the DC-link voltage, which is an input terminal voltage of the inverter, is controlled. |
