The present invention develops the design of a CPC for the accelerated degradation of polymers using UV radiation present in the solar radiation. The design of the invention considered current models based in the analytic geometry and vector calculus for calculating the coordinates of the reflective surface. The collector has an improved efficiency and a reduced cost compared to accelerated weathering chambers currently available on the market. The invention may be considered as a first approximation for achieving the polymer degradation using selective solar degradation.
