PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to actualize a wipe function on a sprite image by displaying only sprite image information belonging to a first screen image in a display area of the first screen image, and displaying only sprite image information belonging to a second screen image in a display area of the second image information. SOLUTION: An image generation part 3 takes pattern graphic image information for two screens from CG-ROM 2 and stores it based on the image control data for a pattern graphic image generation to each of a first and second screen images stored in an area E1 in an image data memory 9. And, the image generation part 3 outputs the image information at each position of display area of each of the 1st and 2nd screen images based on fetched pattern graphic information, etc., and attribute information stored in an area E2 of the image data memory 9 and display priority level. Outputted sprite pattern graphic image information P1, P2, and image information S1 and S2 are sent to an output switching part 4 and either signal in accordance with wipe signal SW is selected and outputted. |
