COMBUSTION DEVICE WITH SWITCH TYPE HEAT ACCUMULATION BURNER AND EQUIPMENT USING THE COMBUSTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient treatment of gas to be treated by a method wherein a switch type heat accumulation burner is disposed at a burner body being of double structure composed of outer and inner cylinders and a gas outflow port through which gas treated in a combustion chamber in the inner cylinder is formed in the burner body. SOLUTION: Gas g' (a gas temperature of approximate 200 deg.C) fed to a burner body 10 through a gas to be treated inflow port 13 of an outer cylinder 11 of the burner body 10 flows in a combustion chamber 16 through a number of dilution holes 15 formed in an inner cylinder 12 and directly heated at temperature (approximate 800 deg.C) by ultrahigh temperature combustion gas G. Most of heated gas heated at a given temperature is discharged through a gas outflow port 14 to the outside. However, a part thereof is discharged in the atmosphere as exhaust gas G1 (a gas temperature being approximate 150 deg.C) through a communication pipe 28, a four-way valve 24, and an exhaust pipe 26 as a heat accumulator 22b is heated during the passage of it through a second system burner 23b. This constitution efficiently treats gas g' to be treated.
