PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner having a centrifugal fan achieving reduction in blast power and improvement in heat exchange performance by raising static pressure of air on upstream and downstream sides of a blade part of a straightening member.SOLUTION: There is provided an air conditioner comprising a centrifugal fan 5, an indoor heat exchanger 8 arranged surrounding the centrifugal fan, and an indoor unit housed in a housing. The indoor heat exchanger has a plane type air inflow surface 811 that air from an air outlet port of a blast fan flows in, and a straightening member 920 is attached to the air inflow surface. The straightening member includes a support part 931 having an insert part fixed between fins of the air inflow surface, and a blade part 932 shaped extending from the support part in a direction opposed to a rotating direction of the centrifugal fan, and is configured to block part of air flowing between the centrifugal fan and air inflow surface, and the angle formed between the insert part and blade part is so determined that the blade part is parallel with a flow F1 of flowing-in air, thereby raising static pressure of air on upstream and downstream sides of the blade part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
