A vehicle picture transmission system includes audio-visual (AV) devices (1-3) to which portable information terminals (11-13) can be connected by wire and that are connected in multiple stages by wire. Each of the AV devices (1-3) is provided with: a display unit (150); a communication processing unit that receives a communication signal transmitted between the AV devices (1-3) and that transmits the communication signal superposed with uncompressed picture data of the portable information terminal connected to the AV device by wire; and an AV integrated processing unit that causes the display unit (150) to display at least one of the uncompressed picture data of the portable information terminal connected to the AV device by wire, or the uncompressed picture data of the portable information terminal connected by wire to another AV device that has been superposed on the communication signal received by the communication processing unit. |
