PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unevenness when fitting an interior finishing material on a reinforcement sheet, along with growth of a crack in the reinforcement sheet at a time of earthquake.SOLUTION: A seismic upgrading wall 1 includes a column 3 as a part of a building frame and an existing interior finishing material 11 fitted on the column 3, and has a reinforcement sheet 12 fitted on the existing interior finishing material 11. A plywood 14 is fitted at a location where the reinforcement sheet 12 overlaps with the column 3 or a stud, and is fixed on the column 3 by screwing a fixing screw 15 through a washer 16 into a hole 14a formed through the plywood 14 at a prescribed interval. A head of the fixing screw 15 does not protrude from the hole 14a of the plywood 14. A new interior finishing material 18 is fitted on the plywood 14 and fixed on the column 3 with a flat-head screw 19, and a head 19a of the flat-head screw 19 is embedded in the new interior finishing material 18. Here, no unevenness results with the new interior finishing material 18. The reinforcement sheet 12 is held between the existing interior finishing material 11, and the plywood 14 and the washer 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
