PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer which mounts cleaning liquid supply means for supplying cleaning liquid to a maintenance device in a carriage and prevents liquid leakage when the carriage is moved.SOLUTION: A cleaning liquid supply unit for discharging cleaning liquid is installed in a carriage, and the cleaning liquid is supplied to a spit unit from the cleaning liquid supply unit to wash ink adhering to the spit unit. After the cleaning liquid is discharged, the cleaning liquid is made to flow backward so that the cleaning liquid does not remain at the tip of a nozzle for discharging the cleaning liquid, and then the channel of the cleaning liquid is blocked to prevent leakage of the cleaning liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
