PURPOSE:To manufacture a long size sintered product of high quality with good yield and high productivity by including at least one hot plasticizing in the plasticizing process in the method of sintering or calcining stock powder together with a cylindrical body after plasticizing said metal cylindrical body containing stock powder. CONSTITUTION:Stock powder is filled into a cylindrical body fit for the plasticizing process, and the cylindrical body containing said stock powder is plasticized and heated, and then said stock powder is calcined and/or sintered to manufacture a long size sintered product. At that time, the cylindrical body at the time of plasticizing is heated up to the recrystallizing temperature of a metal forming the cylindrical body or more for carrying out the process (hot plasticizing process). In order words, as the resistance to deformation of the metal is remarkably decreased and extremely large malleability is developed in said temperature area, and also work-hardening is not generated even if recrystallization is formed after temperature drop, the stock powder can be turned into wires and processing of the metal cylindrical body can be carried out with high efficiency, and also the stock powder inside can be densified. |
