PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase expressional changes by applying a depth or three- dimensional feeling in a pattern display device employing a body of rotation. SOLUTION: An endless belt 20 is made of a transparent plastics film, on which patterns for display are printed by a semitransparent ink. A rotating drum 18 is a transparent injection molded plastics product, on which a film printed with a landscape is stuck. When the rotating drum 18 is rotated, the endless belt 20 also rotates around it, but since the length of the endless belt 20 is longer than the external periphery of the rotating drum 18, there occurs a difference between the rotational speed of the rotating drum 18 and that of the endless belt 20. Consequently, the relative position between the landscape printed on the rotating drum 18 and each pattern drawn on the endless belt 20 changes to give changes on the display. In addition, since part of the rotating orbit of the endless belt 20 is separated from the rotating drum 18, three- dimensional feeling can be obtained. |
