Installations for the removal of lightly adhering shot blasting material from casting surfaces with automatic loading and deloading mechanism comprising the clamping the castings between levers fitted to a rotor like wheel assembly, which permits the sliding of the levers along two sets of concentric rods, and their subsequent rotation in the clamping position whilst the levers are moved by the turning movement of the rotor, each time only describing an arc for the next lever to drop and pick up a new workpiece, each of which are kept clamped and rotated for the duration of one revolution of the radially fixed lever round the rotor centre. Inthis way the shot blasting material falls off the casting without damaging it. |
