<p>The resetting coil spring of the cable drum winder has one end wound on an idler pulley. The other end of the spring is wound in the opposite sense on a pulley driving the drum. The pulleys are mounted parallel and directly adjacent to the drum side wall. Their dia., including the spring, are smaller than the drum dia. The second pulley is rotatable and connected with the drum through a gear transmission. Both pulleys including the spring are mounted on a suitably sized recess on the drum wall. This arrangement enables the max., amount of cable to be wound up given the diameters of cable drum and the cable itself.</p> |
