Wire type endless saw - for cutting foam plastic comprising an abrasive coated stranded wire cable

Production of an endless wire-type saw, particularly for cutting plastic, by forming (i) a loop corresponding to the peripheral length of the endless saw (ii) twisting several strands of wire together to form this loop and (iii) bonding at least the free end of the outer wire firmly to the so-formed endless cable. Pref. the starting loop is formed from the free end of the wire stock which is branched off from the loop. Enables an endless wire-type saw to be produced having virtually no inhomogeneities along its periphery which could reduce its strength.
