PURPOSE:To imprint optional data with a small number of keys, by successively shifting one column of character patterns formed on dot-matrix display elements. CONSTITUTION:Display element groups LEd1 for imprinting are arranged in a dot matrix shape, and equal numbers of keys D1-D7 for turning on and off one column of display elements in this matrix and shift keys are provided. Then, required keys among the keys D1-D7 are operated to store the 1st column of character patterns in a memory in a CPU. The column is shifted with the shift key and then the 2nd column is inputted. This operation is repeated to display the storing character pattern columns successively on the RED1s while they are shifted, thus forming all patterns to be imprinted. Consequently, optional data are imprinted with a small number of keys. |
