An electric clock (4) is arranged near the interior lamp (7) in a motor vehicle. The stepping motor (3) of the electric clock (4) is connected between the terminal (30) and the vehicle frame. The clock illumination (5) is likewise supplied with voltage from the terminal (30) by means of a momentary-contact switch (13). The momentary-contact switch (13) is assigned a holding current circuit with a relay (17), so that after release of the momentary-contact switch (13) the supply of voltage to the clock illumination (5) is maintained. Connected in parallel with the relay (17) is a wiring (cable) run (20) which has a diode (21) and leads to the contact (11), on the side of the interior lamp, of the door contact switch (9). As a result, when the door contact switch (9) is closed, the relay (17) is short-circuited. The relay thereby drops out, so that the supply of voltage to the clock illumination (5) is interrupted. Since in any case a line to the interior lamp runs from the terminal (30) and from the contact (11) of the door contact switch (9), because of the invention the electric clock (4) only needs to be connected to lines in the adjacent interior lamp. <IMAGE> |
