The panel tilts downwards with its front edge as it slides backwards, pulling the front seal away from the opening. The hinge is on side blocks which slide in guide rails and which have linked guide blocks with sloping slots and pins. The two sloping slots are at different angles and cause the panel to tilt when slid rearwards. The guide blocks, or plates, are linked to the panel by adjustable screw fittings.
