PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic part feeder, in which the movable interval of a part feeding section is prolonged by moving the part feeding section after a tape is cut, when the moving distance thereof deviates from a range where the tap can be cut otherwise cutting the tape after the part feeding section is moved. SOLUTION: An operating section 21 operates the moving distance of a component-feeding section to a part cassette which contains a tape, including electronic parts required for next mounting. When the moving distance is longer than the width of a cutter at a cutter section 20, the part feeding section is moved, after the tape is cut. Otherwise the tape is cut at the cutter section 20 by moving the component-feeding section through a drive mechanism 12 such that the part cassette is set at a specified position. According to the arrangement, moving interval of the component-feeding section can be prolonged within a specified tact time and the mounting efficiency of electronic part can be enhanced. |
