The dumbbell support rack is for use with an exercise bench and a pair of dumbbells. The dumbbell support rack comprises a pair of dumbbell supports each having a pair of weight support members, a connecting member connecting the weight support members together, and an upright support member extending downwards from the connecting members and being mounted on the exercise bench by mounting means. The exercise bench may be any of the various types in use. The dumbbell support rack may either be permanently mounted on the exercise bench or may be removably mounted so that the dumbbell support rack can be removed and barbell supports put in their place.
