<p>PURPOSE:To accurately recognize the format of an original text and to facilitate the editing work of a translation text, by displaying the original text on a part of a picture plane corresponding to the translation text at need. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with a translation dictionary part 5, a translation part 4, a text memory part 6 which stores the original texts and the translation texts that are translated results by responding them respectively, a display part 8, an input part 1, and an edit control part 3 which retrieves the original text corresponding to an indicated translation text when an indication signal is inputted from the input part 1 to the translation text group displayed on the display part 8, and displays it on a partial area on the display part 8. And the translation processing is applied on the original text by using knowledge information stored in the translation dictionary part 5, and the original texts at the front and the rear including a corresponding original text are displayed on a part of the translation text when the translation text obtained from the above operation. In such a way, it is possible to facilitate translation editing of the translation text.</p> |
