The invention relates to parlour-game equipment comprising a playing area, cards and dice. According to the invention, the playing area comprises a graphic design in the form of a network of parallel lines extending in different directions and defining boxes in at least two groups which are marked differently, the pieces, fewer in number than the boxes, are intended to be arranged on the boxes and distributed in two groups which are marked differently, the pieces in one group being fixed during the same match while those of the other group are moved, and each equipped with a different identifying mark, and provision is made for a means for indicating a direction of the playing-area plane, which can be actuated in order to indicate the directions of the plane. The invention is intended for playing educational games, particularly those simulating sailboarding. <IMAGE>
