<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently and surely adsorb malodorous gases and harmful gases by mixing the amorphous carbon particles having adsorbed metal ion and a metal oxide to prepare powder, and depositing the powder on a foamed synthetic resin carrier. CONSTITUTION:Metal ion is adsorbed on amorphous carbon particles, and the carbon particles are mixed with a metal oxide to prepare powder. The powder is then dispersed in a synthetic resin foaming material, and the material is foamed to produce a gas adsorbent. The ions of Na, K, Mg, Ca, Cr, Mn, Ni, Zn, etc., are appropriately used as the metal ion, and Al2O3, SiO2, Fe2O3, etc., are appropriate as the metal oxide. In addition, a synthetic resin foaming material consisting essentially of a polyol and an isocyanate is appropriately used. Various gas components are efficiently adsorbed by the obtained adsorbent.</p> |
