PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve deterioration in the picture quality of a moving picture with simple constitution by arranging subfields formed for one field period so that more than two subfields for other display periods are arranged on both the sides of a subfield for the longest display period. SOLUTION: Subfields are arrayed in such order that display periods are dispersed. In this case, a liquid emission period is always present for one field period. Here, the subfields are arrayed in the one field in the order of b1, b3, b5, b7, b6, b4, b2, and b0. Thus the subfields b0, b1, b2...b7 are used, the subfields b5 and b6 for display periods shorter than the subfield of top order (subfield b7 for the longest display period) are arranged on both the sides of the subfield of top order, which is arranged almost in the center. |
