PURPOSE:To seek to stabilize discharge by welding a positive ring, a metallic case, and further a lead terminal in a body. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode ring 7 and a metallic case 2 are welded 8. For the welding 8, both are welded by applying laser from the outside of a battery, in addition to electric spot welding. Also, in case that lead terminals 9 and 9' are applied further to the outside of the metallic case 2, the three of the case, the ring and this terminal inclusive are welded from the outside of the battery by lasers. Hereby, it can restrain dispersion of contact resistance, especially the contact resistance between the positive electrode ring and the metallic case, inside the battery caused by loosening of tightness inside the battery which arises as the discharge advances. Accordingly, it can stabilize the discharge. |
